I watch that goal over and over again and that’s why I laugh when the so called Great MORINHO described him a ‘potential great player if he would stop diving’…. That comment is not fair on Osimhen…. A diving player in the penalty box would not score that goal. At a slightest touch, a diving number 9 would have been down looking for a penalty but Oshimen resisted and tugged on to score a great goal. Morinho, sometimes is not so great and very uncharitable and sometimes need to just close his mouth. Oshimen is great and no one can stop his greatness…..
I see no reason why this guy cannot be rated at par with maradona In terms of achievements and vital contributions. Whatever honour that given to maradona should be given to Osimhen as well bcs he seems to be the pivot of their club But racism always comes into play whenever a black man is concerned. Without him they’d be stuttering and crashing. Their sacked coached said that osimhen could have saved his job for him if not for his absence due to afcon. Great striker of all time.
No reasons for comparison….they are two different players in different eras…..Oshimen still growing and life dey him front…..
@Oakfield show some respect to Maradona you see no reason? How many World Cups has Osimhen won?. HOW Many Scudetto’s has Osimhen won. How many European club Titles has Osimhen won. Thats the thing with Us Nigerians we use our mouth to Jinx everything. Why not Let Osimhen focus on his Career and we review where we rate him at the end of it.
Diego is an all rounder and a free kick specialist as well. He had many tricks in his book be it assists driving the team from the middle and endless energy starts a game and finished it with the same energy and composure. Maradona also carried a weaker Napoli squad than Osimhen’s to the scudetto back to back. I believe
In addition, he was a drug baron.
You read my mind, all his achievements was based on drugs
