Napoli Provide Positive Injury Update On Osimhen

Napoli doctor, Raffaele Canonico has revealed that Victor Osimhen is back to full fitness following a back injury.

Osimhen picked up the injury in Napoli’s 3-2 victory against Udinese just before the international break.

The injury forced the striker to miss Nigeria’s international friendly against Portugal last month.

Napoli resumed training after two weeks break on Thursday and Osimhen was among the players who took part in the session.

“Kvaratskhelia has already returned to the group, the back pain has passed,” Canonico told FantaCalcio.

“Osimhen has also recovered from a trauma to the lumbar region. Rrahmani’s recovery is proceeding quickly. We aim to get him back January 4 with Inter.”

The 23-year-old has scored 10 goals and recorded three assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for the Partenopei this season.

Luciano Spalletti’s side will play two friendly games against Antalyaspor and Crystal Palace this month.

CS kindly cease from giving us updates from Napoli with regards to Osimhen claimed injury, it’s getting to KO of WC and some players will be returning to their clubsides, so Napoli is using this opportunity to tell us that if Osimhen resumes duty then it’s because he’s healed. We don hear that was the earlier script agreed by the two parties after Udinese game, I don’t even know what to say about Nigerian football of late, and those who unmasks this drama always get bashed by ones who can not detect what’s happening.

    • @Chima E Samuels, it is very sad Bro Osimhen, Lacks serious patriotism it is clear.

Until the day we get the right NFF officials before all this negativity will come to an end because I don’t see this happening in Brazil or English Camp. Even Senegal was trying all means to get Mane fit until World Cup eve before they gave up. I know there was nothing to play for in our case but the attitude had to be right after what we the fans had to endure following WCQ failure.
