Wilfred Ndidi has expressed delight following Leicester City’s win and clean sheet away to Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s Premier League.
A Jamie Vardy penalty on the stroke of half-time and an own goal by Toby Alderwereld sealed the win for Leicester.
It was the first time ever that Brendan Rodgers would defeat a team coached by Jose Mourinho.
Ndidi who only recently returned from injury, was the standout performer for Leicester.
He was voted Man of the Match for his side, finishing ahead of Vardy, Wesley Fofana and Marc Albrighton.
And reacting to the win Ndidi wrote on his verified Twitter handle:”Amazing feeling to get 3 points and a clean sheets away from home.”
The win took Leicester to second position just four points behind leaders Liverpool.
