Wilfred Ndidi got a very good rating as Leicester City held Crystal Palace to a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park in Saturday’s Premier League clash.
In the rating done by Leicester Mercury, Ndidi was rated eight for his impressive performance for the newly promoted club.
Ndidi was one of two Leicester players who got very high ratings after bagging the assists for Leicester’s goals.
The Super Eagles star midfielder now has three assists in four Premier League games this season.
Commenting on Ndidi’s performance, Leicester Mercury wrote: “Ndidi’s inclusion over a recognised attacking midfielder had been controversial, but the Nigerian was excellent in the first half.
“A quite unbelievable display given how poor he was against Villa. His first touch and footwork were so much better, and he pressed sharply, while he was superb for the goals, winning the ball and clipping over the perfect pass for Vardy for the first, then showing off brilliant composure to tee up Mavididi for the second. But he did lose the ball a few too many times in the second half.”
During the international break, Ndidi also provided the assist for Victor Osimhen in the Super Eagles 3-0 win against Benin Republic in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
