Wilfred Ndidi was in action as newly promoted Leicester City held Tottenham Hotspur to a 1-1 draw in Monday night’s Premier League fixture.
Ndidi was impressive for Leicester in the 90 minutes he played and made a goal-bound clearance in the encounter.
Spurs took the lead in the 29th minute thanks to Pedro Porro who met James Maddison’s cross with a glancing header.
Leicester equalised in the 57th minute with their first effort on target as Abdul Fatawu clipped over a cross for Jamie Vardy to nod in unmarked at the far post.
There was a lengthy break in the 71st minute after Bentancur sustained an injury following a clash of heads and was eventually taken off in a stretcher.
