Ndidi, Leicester Teammates To Don Inspirational New Pink Away Kit Vs Chelsea Today

Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was picked to flaunt Leicester City’s new pink away kit which the Brendan Rogers’ men will don this evening when they face Chelsea in their second match of the 2019/20 Premier League seaso at the the Stamford Bridge, Completesports.com reports.

The Foxes are ostensibly looking for a special inspiration with which to compete for the full points against Frank Lampard’s side as they aim at a repeat of their last season’s feat when they defeated The Blues 1-0 at the Stamford Bridge.

Just hours ahead of the Stamford Bridge showdown, Leicester City announced on their Social Media platforms that they would don their new pink away kit in the game against Chelsea, with Ndidi as the model.

“We’ll be in our 2019/20 pink away kit for the first time today! 👌#CheLei,” the club tweeted on their official Twitter handle above a photo of Ndidi.

Leicester City started their new season campaign by dropping two points at home when a resilient Wolverhampton Wanderers side held them to a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium last Sunday. They are looking to recoup the points at Stamford Bridge.

However, Ndidi and his teammates will face a defiant Chelsea who will play out of their skin to please their home fans and get their new campaign on a good track after losing 4-0 to Manchester United at the Old Trafford on matchday-one and losing the UEFA Super Cup title to Liverpool.

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard knows that a result other than an outright win in today’s home match will fray more nerves among the club’s faithful. And the former captain has done enough pep talk, for his players to be at their best, play without pressure and beat Leicester City.
