NFF, Chelsea, Emirates FA Cup Celebrate Mikel At 35

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Chelsea football club and the Emirates FA Cup have sent birthday wishes to former Super Eagles skipper John Obi Mikel on his 35th birthday.

The NFF, Chelsea and the Emirates FA Cup sent their wishes via their Twitter handles.

NFF thanked Mikel for all the fond memories during his time with the Super Eagles.

“Happy birthday to former @NGSuperEagles captain, @mikel_john_obi. Thank you for the memories and have a good one.“

Chelsea wrote:“We’re also wishing a very happy birthday to John Obi Mikel!”

And according to the Emirates FA Cup “Happy Birthday, @mikel_john_obi! 🥳.”

Mikel helped Nigeria win the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and featured at two FIFA World Cups (2014 and 2018) and also captained the U-23 Eagles to a bronze win at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

At Chelsea he won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups, the UEFA Champions League, the Europa League, League Cup and Community Shield.

    Emirates wishes Mikel happy 35years.
    Good.i m sure money wil flow in also …..
    Some guys are playing in the real Emirate in the middle east …they wil pay fines not because of their mistake but because they can’t access passport renewal to update their visa.after they paid the real amount to govt purse for 2 months now. As a result they are on overstay . Fine per day is 16000 naira and so many ve up to 100days overstay because no international passport is available at the Nigerian embassy in Abu Dhabi ..the Liberian passport is a week to access also Ghana and some other nationality.but Nigeria u wil see heaven before u get it a footballer told me.

    • @shehu .if I tell u wat I know about this thing u just talked about u wil be crying for Nigerian in middle east . A guy was going to collect his international passport which he did capturing in December 2021 and his visa expires in February 2022 on his way he was stopped by kelebe … Rest is history. He is in prison as I am talking.he paid 700 diram that is over 100000naira.yet immigration wil never know this.
      They say it is Nigeria problem
