NFF Offers Support To Falcons Coach, Waldrum

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed that they will give the Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum, the total support in a bid to build a formidable squad that will compete for global laurels.

NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, stated this at a brief meeting with Waldrum in Abuja.

They expressed delight with the performance of the Super Falcons at the Turkish Women’s Tournament, where the team won all their matches against teams such as Uzbekistan, Equatorial Guinea, and CSKA Moscow.

He stated that the Amaju Pinnick-led administration was resolute in harnessing available human, material, and non-physical resources and assets to uplift the nine-time African champions to eventual world-beaters.

“I welcome you to the NFF headquarters for the very first time. Let me start by saying that I was actually impressed with your professionalism and competence shown in the handling of the squad at the Turkish Women’s Tournament, and that played a great role in the Super Falcons winning all their matches at the tournament,” Sanusi told the female national team’s coach.

“Permit me to also say the NFF is enamoured by your request, without any prompting, to come and watch the NWFL Super 6 taking place in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

“This shows clearly that you are interested in the development and sustenance of the Nigeria women’s game and discovering players for the national team. We will continue to give you all the support to build a formidable team that the world will reckon with by its performance at major tournaments outside the African continent.”

This is really good and I believe Mr. Waldrum will build a solid team for Nigeria in less than two years.

We have the young players that can do more and taking the advantage of this to represent Nigeria.

Mr. Waldrum is technically and tactically sound. He shows us what he got during the tournament in Turkey.

He took clubless players to a tournament which Nigeria won.

He gave new players a chance to shows their talents and all the new players took the advantages of that and Falcons won the title in Turkey.

Scouting for more young talents in Nigeria will help the gaffer to build his team quicker. Be smart enough when dealing with NFF. A world is a enough for the wise.

Good luck to you Mr. Waldrum. No time to waste time. God bless Nigeria!!!
