NFF Send Birthday Wishes To Babatunde, Alampasu

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have sent greetings to Nigerian internationals Michael Babatunde and goalkeeper Dele Alampasu, on their 27th and 23rd birthday celebrations respectively.

The NFF sent the greetings on their verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.

“Happy birthday to Babatunde Michael and Dele Alampasu.”

Babatunde made his Super Eagles debut in 2013 and has 17 appearances and has scored two goals.

He was a member of the Super Eagles squad that featured at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil.

Also he made the squad to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, where he had an assist for the Eagles first goal in the 3-2 defeat to Argentina.

He currently plays for Wydad Athletic Club where he has scored 13 goals in 38 appearances.

For Alampasu, he was in goal when the Golden Eaglets won the U-17 FIFA World Cup in UAE.

Alampasu plies his trade with Portuguese second-tier club Feirense.

On 1 June 2017, Alampasu made his senior debut for Nigeria, as a 70th minute substitution, against Togo in a 3–0 victory.

  • I think someone said alampasu is back in Nigeria, that he is clubless? Wow, why do some people like to carry fake news about other people. Congratulations young men more grease to your boots.

    • Yes, Alampasu is in Lagos, I see him train at CAR PARK C of RCCG Camp at least 3times a week. He drives a white ML 350 Benz

    • Yep, Alampasu’s contract with Feirense expired six months ago in June. he has been training both with his own grassroots club in Lagos as well as with former Super Eagles goalkeepers Rufai and Dosu.

We are all hoping he gets a club in January. He is said to have refused to play in Nigeria having been offered contracts by Enyimba and a few other NPFL sides

By the way Busayo Saka the arsenal winger is in the news. And he’s talking about him making a decision whether to play for Nigeria or England . NfF, this young man is shouting out now and you better act fast . He’s a player of the future let’s not waste the opportunity of getting him to the super eagles .I have a great feeling that should we get him and make him see what he will gain in playing for Nigeria , it’s sure he will respond immediately. NFF and Gernot Rohr it’s up to you…Do not screw up this chance….
