Conceding early against a team that hasn’t conceded in this tournament…..Will be tough to come back but it’s not over until 90 mins..

  • TONY 1 year ago

This team isn’t equipped with players that can play tiki-taka style successfully. They have players that can just hoof the ball over the midfield and try to chase it down. Trying to pass it around is not their strength.
Anyway, they have already done the barest minimum.
So, it’s on to the U20 World Cup.

When you appoint a bigot and a lazy coach  to be the head of a national , this is one of the things you see. Thank God we have qualify for the World Cup . If it were possible NFF should get us an Intelligent coach who will comb the nooks and crannies of the country to get us real U20 who can run  well not these oldies parading themselves as U20.

The team just gave away their opportunity to win to Gambia. It’s as simple as that!

Has this team ever impressed? For me, the WAFU team was far better than this thing this coach is parading this time.

Why is bosso so in love with sarki.. he has failed to live up to the hype all through this tournament yet he gets to start all game..

Sarki and the abubakar striker should not enter the pitch for the next 45 mins..

Nigeria is losing, and voila! Selfmade shows up, like clockwork.
Hahahaha. If Nigeria was winning, you won’t see his break light.

Am supporting Nigeria to win so that they can stop senegal! I don’t want senegal to win everything this year in Africa lol

Kets face facts, nigeria has beenbd better side in diz game. The boyscare bossing the play, dominating every aspect of d game. Just dat early mistake dat caused the goal, gambia hasn’t don jack in diz game. We just have to stop looking for dat long balls all d time. Keep it simple and put d ball on d ground. The gambians are nervous, they kick d ball out to touch every opportunity they have. I see us winning this game 2:1. Common FE, lets get d equalizer and pile some more pressure on dem and they will capitulate. Lets go FE.

We need reinforcement for the WC.. our midfield is not creative.. and we lack good strikers too..

Whatsoever the result today we are through to the WC and to make any significant impact this team needs lot of other additions.. good goalkeeper and defenders , I must admit

    • The team has been terrible since the beginning of the tournament. Congrats if this is your first match watching them. They are so pathetic.

What is Senegal doing in their football currently that is making us look like also-Ran?

  • Proudly 9ja 1 year ago

Bosso why na. How can u take mohamed off for Adams. Just ridiculous. Where would d goal come from nau

  • Bosso, what is your “Plan B” when route 1 and long balls don’t work?

  • Collins Id 1 year ago

I dont know where this strikers come from oh, very poor

    • Are they the same squad that scored a lot during friendlies and qualifiers? This squad is a disaster and no one will even flourish in three years time at their “age” today

  • Footballfanatic 1 year ago

That no 9 has been a calamity since Senegal….He got a red card in the 1st game and now he ends it with missing a penslty…..Quota system shit.

  • The most terrible u20 ive never seen

Pls nigeria government, don’t send these idiot to the world cup

  • Chudynak 1 year ago

While it is normal for you to win some and lose some, this team has not lived up the the minimum standards of Nigerian youth teams, extremely poor. The head coach should step aside and if any of the assistants merits the job, he should be promoted otherwise, a new coach should be appointed to rejig this team. I saw NOTHING in this tournament from these men. I thought they won all their friendlies with wide margins? This was one of the best prepared teams in the history of Nigerian football and this is what we get? Over to you NFF, chose to retain this mediocre coach and fumble the more or take action now!

  • josh 1 year ago

This is what happens when nation never does anything on merit. It is very glaring that all these players were never selected on merit. Even the coaches themselves are product of rigged system that says you must ignore merit, objectivity, and excellence for quota system, godfatherism, man-know-man, egunje, and the likes.

I still maintain that these players are overage. It is even sad that apart from their being overaged, they don’t know how to play football. Football 101; break and complete a pass to your teammate they can’t do it. What they know how to do it to huf and puf, do jam body and play kick and pursue – the typical play you see in the Nigerian domestic league.

If NFF like let them not replace these coaches and with credible coaches that will give us acceptable under 20 players. It is a bigger disgrace that is waiting for them in the world cup.

Damn, I’m completely gutted, we had diz game, if we had converted d penalty, we would’ve won diz game. This was FE best game so far, they made gambia look very ordinary. We had more posessions, passing accuracy, more shots on goal and target, more free kicks, cirners, throw ins etc. We dominated from start to finish but couldn’t score. This team needs overhauling. This team is just mot good enough and d coach isn’t good enough too. This team needs ball players. There is no way a Manu Garba tutored side can play duz poorly. They were not exceptional in any of the games they’ve played so far. Lawal is poor, sunday, adams, aminu, sarki, #17, abdulahi are all below average. Except Bosso is saying nigerian youth no longer know how to play football, if these are d best Bosso can come up with then 9ja is in trouble. Am really pissed i swear, i really wanted diz team to do well.

U always using WOULDVE omo! Lol! ….

Other African nations has caught up with both Ghana and Nigeria! D

      Deal with it

  • Footballfanatic 1 year ago

Ladan Bosso is a disgrace…..As a coach you should’ve let a more credible player take the penalty and not that useless no 9 who has been a disgrace the whole tournament…Just cause you won a penalty doesn’t mean you have to take it… It’s a team game. The fool grabbed the ball so fast like Emmanuel Dennis.

  • pompei 1 year ago

Come to think of it, this defeat happened shortly after some pipo saluted the team and charged them to go for the trophy. The team was doing well, enter Buhari, Dare and Eguavoen, and everything don dabaru.
If they had left the team alone, perhaps the team would be in the final right now. Hahahahaha!
    Na joke dey ooo!

    • Footballfanatic 1 year ago

Wow I just remembered Buhari sent them a message few days ago…..Hahahaha no surprises here.

    • Glory 1 year ago

Brodaman Pompeii. Abeg you know football past this your comment nau… Make we nor put blame for Buhari or any other person dem. This team is capital PURE rubbish. E go better government use the money dem suppose to use send dem to the world cup fry kpekere for every Nigerian instead. Na big disgrace dey wait for us for that world if we fail to rejig/restructure this team. EFULEFU PLAYERS/ COACHING CREW.

  • Chudynak 1 year ago

I think Senegal will have this one again. Can you beat the haul? I salute this country for doing what a so-called giant has failed to do. Even elections are brazenly rigged and the aggrieved told straight to their faces to go to court….. No sense of getting things right from onset

  • mercy 1 year ago

The team problem is basically a coaching problem. They lack good technical. If not, how do you explain all these years of camping, yet no teamwork, no good attacking midfielders, good wingers that can deliver good crosses and good strikers.

This team is an eyesore. I cannot pick five players that are worthy of going to the WC.

    • Ignatius Abo 1 year ago

Thumbs up Sisterwoman Mercy. The team was poor today
