Flamingos are not playing at all.
While this team look very technical in their build up, they need to be more creative in the final third to get into the USA 18 box.
You can’t always depend on shots from the edge of the 18 or a defensive errors to latch on.
The US forward clearly got the instruction to penetrate the 18, do a few dribbles while 3 or 4 others strikers/midfielders swarm the box for a loose ball. And it worked for them.
This one element in the final third aside, Nigeria would easily win but sadly currently behind 1-0.
I hope the coach notes this gap and plugs it quickly.

Why do they keep taking long-range shots from outside the 18 yard box?? Especially Moshood.
This is USA, not Ecuador or Dominican Republic. USA is a more mature team. Long-range shots won’t work against them.

Our problem has always been lack of organization on and off the pitch . Give this same team to a good coach and better FA they will beat USA silly.

Game is lost jare. No wonder the the Number 9 Chidi was not being fed and instead 7 out of the 9 goals scored in the prelim round were by midfielders and defenders.
Clearly the coach’s scoring tactic was “shoot or lob the ball from the edge of the 18 yard box.”
There was obviously no strategy on how to work the ball into the final third box with guile, dribbles, and creativity.
Well, end of the road. Such basic tactic won’t work against highly tactical teams like the USA.
Moshood should have left the scoring to the strikers. Feed them the ball, rather than keep trying to loop the ball over the goalkeeper from outside the 18-yard cos it worked against Ecuador. Lol

Apart from the 2 players injured, is the coach telling me no other players are worthy of coming off the bench. Can’t blame the defenders for this lost. The midfielders keep losing the balls needlessly

You can’t win a game without brilliant players and coaches. You cannot win a tournament without brilliant players.
Africans cannot win a major tournament without outright win over any fair skin country especially the Western Union world and it most be done by moment of brilliance and determination.
We lost today because the coach is not a smart dude. We lost today because the players are not street wise smart like the south south Warri ufuoma babes. Think about it.
