American sport wear manufacturer, Nike, has unveiled the new home and away jerseys for Nigeria’s national football team, Completesports.com reports.
Nike made the announcement in a statement released on their official website on Wednesday.

The jerseys of Nigeria along with that of USA and South Korea were revealed on Wednesday with the remaining federations being launched during the next few months.
Commenting on Nigeria’s new jerseys, Nike stated: “In 2018, Naija changed the game with a collection for the ages that set a new standard for how Nike approaches federation design. In 2020, Nigeria picks up right where they left off with a home kit that fuses the traditional aesthetic of an agbada robe with modern football design.
“The kit’s pattern was hand drawn and is highly symbolic of Nigerian heritage with nods to nobility and family. Nigeria’s crest is placed centrally on the chest with a Swoosh underneath it. The player names and numbers integrate the eagle feather into the application. “Naija” appears inside the neck of jersey and on the back of the socks in a new typeface.
“The away kit is inspired by Onaism, a traditional artistic movement central to Nigerian design and craft represented in the trim details. An eagle feather aesthetic, creatively distorted, continuously repeats in ascending size to create a visual impact. The collar has a slight V overlap with a thicker overlap in the back. Both the collar and the sleeves feature a slight nick at the mid-point.
“The broader Naija collection will feature an extensive array of Super Eagles apparel including a poncho, vest, dress and more.”
The Super Eagles will dorn the new jersey when the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers kick-off in March.

Chisus. Smh. Nike don fall our hands o
Hahahaha….na real chisus.!
Unveiling the Jersey with stars from the national team will make it beautiful. But nevertheless it nice . Jersey don’t play football
Ah, what is this one called? Chai, I’m still laughing o. @Debo, you are make me laughing with your comment o lol.
This is terribly poor. Oga Amaju, you know better than this but how come now?
If we check the history of 9ja jerseys, is idea we get two years of new brand of jerseys right and the next two years would be wrong. Same thing reaping itself here.
After the world cup jerseys, this is what the NFF can offered us? Really? I’m totally disappointed that this is what NFF tends to offered Nigerians. Indeed, the jerseys looks like Masquerade.
I have said it before the world cup Jerseys came out that we have designers in Nigeria that can design Jerseys for us.
We have them in the country. NFF would have invited them and I’m pretty sure that they would have designed beautiful jerseys that better than this ones for Nigeria, NFF then would send the sample to Nike.
For me, if NFF can’t produced better jerseys than these two, it would have been better to keep using the world cup jerseys to these new two.
Truth is always hurt and bitter. I am not sorry to say this NFF, because Nigeria deserves better than this. Too bad.
I can’t buy these jerseys. 9ja people which way forward?
God bless Nigeria!!!
I’m shocked to my bones that you didn’t involve Rohr in this matter.
You forgot to add……the problem is oga Rohr ….I loving him with all my heart but he failing us. How can he allowed NFF to go and sow jersey outside Nigeria. If he living inside Nigeria now, he will be able to stop amaju from going to sow jersey abroad. We can all see how Yoruba people do amotekun, they didn’t went abroad. But oga Rohr will sit down in Europe. Section 419 of my constitution says home sweet home. Me omo9ja refusing to be deceived. God bless Nigerian. Ire o!……
Omo9ja Kindly add the above as an addendum to your earlier post pls.
Hmmm….u don know am finish
Lol@drey. I’m surprised too. Was expecting him to say na oga rohr give them the template of the design or maybe na him design am himself….lol…
Hahahahagagaga@ Dr Drey. Omo9ja over to you
Drey the guy in the jersey looks like you I can tell. Nna no be small thing o
Shuo…how did you know….? That’s actually my first son o and the girl is my daughter too. I just didnt want to gloat about it in a public space like CSN…LMAO
ATTENTION…..ATTENTION…..ATTENTION
Fellow Nigerians, can you please search for these two jerseys on Google? If possible you can put the image of the jerseys on CSN for us to see.
These were also from Nike and they produced those two Jerseys for Nigeria.
Check bellow here.
(1) 2018-2019 Nigeria Flag Home Concept Football Shirt
(2) Airo Sportswear
Airo Sportswear 2018-2019 Nigeria Home Concept Football Soccer T-Shirt.
If possible, CSN should please help us tell Oga Amaju to go for those two jerseys.
The jerseys I’m talking about should be our new jerseys. Why, why, why Mr. Amaju? Where are talking us to now Oga President?
God bless Nigeria!!!

This Jersey is terrible!!.. What an ugly looking jersey , who will spend his hard earned money buying this shit after exhibiting a world class party jersey in the last world cup ?
This one be like ankara aso ebi tinz
I’m not sure why we had to change the current jerseys designs just yet. However, the away jersey (dark green) looks quite okay (or is it the person posing with it?…..sometimes our eyes can play that trick on us). As for the home jerseys, it was always going to be difficult to beat the high standards set with the 2018 World Cup jersey. NFA/NIKE should have taken their time to craft, review and come up with something that will at least meet the aesthetic standard of the 2018 jersey.
Me i like both Jerseys oo! Very traditional. The design looks Nigerian. Common guys be proud. Anyway,When super eagles lift one trophy now with this jersey, una go love am by force
Make them throway this jersey abeg. The babe cute Sha.
I will desire we give this Jersey and the initiators a benefit of the doubt. My challenge with people is we are so quick to condemn, the jersey just got released take time to reflect before saying a thing.Omo9ger pls have some restraints with your incomprehensible couch of words.
U get mouth@Asoko…I noticed they are trying to follow the flag pattern this time like the one at Atlanta Olympic 96 (green white green). I’ll prefer to leave my comment till the next match. Wish to see how beautiful it will be on the Field of play
Jersey don’t play football, to me the jersey is not bad. Nigerians are too quick to condemn but later they start eating their words.
Nice one #Nike!
Warrisdis!!!?? Chai!!
They should get a Nigerian to design and then Nike can imprint. This is petty, basic & childish in my opinion. Too much play with colours & patterns. Mature designs are minimalistic – not too busy or so much drama going on.
Why unveil in New York, not Abuja or Lagos? And how many times have England, Italy, Germany, France changed their jerseys in the last few years? They’re largely consistent & that’s branding. This Pinnick NFF is beginning to mess up. How much do you guys always cook up to share for this magomago yearly change of jerseys with Nike? They should leave abeg.
The Jersey is not bad, it will grow in you don’t worry, I feel it doesn’t look good on the models wait until d boys start to dorn d jerseys
What type of f**kery is this na? When did Nigeria start to play in blue? Shame on amaju pinnick for approving this sh*t.
The wild zig-zag lines threaten to pierce into the player’s flesh, and the harsh colours emit blinding rays, the combined effects destabilising.
Is it really necessary to change jerseys every two years? Like@Kel, let’s make the last flashing one a brand. On n’est change pas l’equipe qui gagne—one does not change the winning horse.
NFF has other overriding tasks.
These jerseys are currently being labelled as the best, if not the best ever by outsiders, yet we remain critical of it’s design.
We should appreciate these new jerseys as they are modelled in out native attire.
No mind our people!! Other parts of the world are virtually losing their minds over our new design. It is definitely another hit. Seems the NFF are now the pacesetters for Nike. Hopefully, they can benefit from imminent sales explosion cause if not, what would the point be. I generally think they used the wrong male model. Wait till our players model it, guys go change mouth.
This Jersey we are condemning might just be the one to give Africa it’s first world cup trophy, when we wore the good one nothing happened, let’s try something ugly guys,u never can tell.
Very true… Because when wowo bailup person, na so so yes sir yes sir dat person go dey talk. So make we use this wowo to our advantage well ..
Nigeria Jersey or Glo advert Costumes….Disappointed!! How can I rock it with my black jean self
Different strokes for different folks.

The new Jersey may not be as bad as portrayed. The guy wearing that jersey look hungry. Let’s wait until our players wear it first against sierra Leone then we can judge. I would have preferred us wearing the worst jersey in Russia and performed than wearing supposedly the best jersey and went out in the first round.
where is that our upadan white jersey na. i dont like this glo advert as my broda said. nike u worst
