NNL::Nnewi United’s Top Scorer  Nwautobo Sets 16 Goals Target, Eyes NPFL Spot

Nnewi United leading scorer in the 2018/2019 second tier domestic league, Nigeria National League (NNL), Chinaza Miracle Nwautobo, has set a personal 16 goals target this term, Completesports.com reports.
Nwautobo has so far scored four goals in four matches, all coming from two-brace performances against Unicem Rovers and Ekiti United respectively.
With four goals to his credit so far, Nwautobo exclusively told Completesports.com he was looking forward to scoring 12 more goals in the remaining games to bring his total haul in the season to 16.
“This is my first season in the NNL and I’m happy with the way we are moving.
” Personally, I’ve scored four goals in our four games and  believe I can still score 12 more because my target is to score 16 goals before the season ends,” the pacy forward said.
There are only four games remaining in the NNL fixtures, raising doubts as to how the young striker could meet his goals target.
“I know we have only four games but with God, nothing is impossible. All that’s required is hard work and prayers”, he said with an air of confidence.
Nnewi United were top on the log before they were pegged 2-0 by Dynamite FC, Benin, last weekend.
This weekend, they will welcome the Benin side to their Rojenny Stadium, Oba,  slaughter slab in a reverse fixture with Nwautobo sounding positive they would make the top league, NPFL, spot at the close of the season.
“As a team, that’s our objective. We want to play in the Premier League and we are working hard for it.
“We the players, know the positives playing in the Premier League will bring to our careers.
“Besides, the management and coaching crew under Coach Ben Okaro are doing their best and we believe with God on our side, we will make it”.
