There will be no brotherly affair whatsoever between the pair of Nigeria internationals, Samuel Chukwueze and Kenneth Omeruo whose clubs, Villarreal and Leganes clash in a La Liga game today (Sunday) at the Estadio de la Ceramica in Villarreal, Completesports.com reports.
Chukwueze is very much preoccupied with hard work to help Villarreal navigate farther away from relegation trough after they were dumped out of the Europa League by Valencia.
The attacking youngster was in good form last weekend when his team met Girona, scoring the only goal of the game to lift Villarreal out of the La Liga drop zone.
Chukwueze’s coach will once more be counting on the goal-scoring heroics of the teenager to help the Yellow Submarine pick up maximum points against the Legionaires.
The former Nigeria youth international has appeared in 20 league matches in his inaugural season for the first team with four goals and two assists to his name.
Omeruo has also done well since joining Leganes on loan last summer with the defender making 21 starts in 22 La Liga appearances, without scoring though.
