Norwich City are close to agreeing a transfer for KV Oostende’s Belgian youngster Rocky Bushiri, according to reports. Daniel Farke’s side have already made two signings this summer with the loan of Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts and the capture of Swiss forward Josip Drmic on a free.
Now, reports suggest they are keen to sign players for the future, with Bushiri identified as a fine prospect. The 19-year-old, who operates as a central defender, is believed to have travelled to England over the weekend to finalise a medical and contract with the Canaries.
He spent last season on loan at fellow top division club Eupen, where he made 31 appearances. He was also a member of Belgium’s Under-21 squad for the European Championships in Italy and San Marino, though was part of a side that lost all three group games. It is likely he would initially slot into the Norwich development squad upon arrival.
