Rivers United head coach Finidi George is expecting a difficult test against Sunshine Stars, reports Completesports.com reports.
The Port Harcourt club reclaimed top spot on the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) table following last weekend’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Abia Warriors.
Finidi’s side will look to maintain their position on the log when they take on Sunshine Stars at the the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode on Wednesday (today).

Finidi believed if his team play to their strength they will win the game.
“For me every game is important. We are here for another important match, it’s not going to be easy but I think if we play to our strength we will have a chance tomorrow. We will take every game as it comes with all seriousness. We are running our own race, we are not looking at what others are doing, just see how we can get the best out of this match,” Finidi said ahead of the game.
“It’s very very good, the confidence level after that win, we knew we had not won for some time and winning that game I think really helped the players to build confidence so coming here will not be anything different.”
“We will approach the game with all seriousness and hopefully we can get something out of the game but I think the conference is high after a couple of weeks without a win at home. We are quite happy with that.”
