Rangers moved to top spot in Group A of the Nigeria Professional Football League following a 2-1 away win against Kwara United in a rescheduled matchday – six encounter on Wednesday at the Ilorin Township Stadium.

Godwin Aguda doubled Rangers’ lead three minutes later.
The versatile midfielder stole the ball from Kwara United defender Sunday Akinmoladun before firing past Olawale Oremade.
Kwara coach Abubakar Bala made two changes at half time, introducing winger Peter Momoh and attacking midfielder Tijani Adamu as they looked to claw their way back into the game.
The move brought some hope in the 65th minute when Ebenezer Odeyemi capitalised on a defensive slip-up to half the deficit for the home team.
The Harmony Warriors however failed to get the much needed equalising goal in the remaining part of the encounter.
The win was Rangers first on the road this season and it extended their unbeaten streak to eight games.
The Enugu club now have 24 points from 11 matches, a point ahead of MFM FC who occupy second position.
