Shooting Stars have announced the appointment of Salisu Yusuf as their new technical adviser, Completesports.com reports.
Yusuf takes over from Nurudeen Aweroro, who recently parted ways with the five-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions.
The former Super Eagles assistant coach arrives at the Oluyole Warriors with an impressive coaching pedigree spanning over two decades.
The experienced tactician started his managerial career with Nasarawa United in 2002.

The 64-year-old has worked with several of Nigeria’s leading clubs, including Kano Pillars, Rangers International and Enyimba, and was most recently with Coton Sport in Benin.
At international level, Yusuf has served as an assistant coach of the Super Eagles and has also been in charge of the Super Eagles B team and Nigeria’s U-23 side.
In 2018, he guided the home-based Super Eagles to the final of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), where they lost to hosts Morocco.
Shooting Stars finished third in the NPFL last term, and will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup next season
The Ibadan club will face Tunisian giants CS Sfaxien in the first preliminary round of the competition.
