The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have sealed a place in the semi-final of the men’s football event at the 2024 National Sports Festival.
The Eaglets thrashed Ebonyi 5-0 on Friday to seal a place in the last four.
Abdulniz Adeleke bagged a brace with Mohammed Imrana, Destiny Samuel and Emmanuel Ochigbo were the goal scorers for the team.

They finished the game with 10-men after Imrana was sent off late in the closing stages
Flamingos are also targeting a place in the knockout round.
On Thursday, the Flamingos drew 0-0 with Lagos State. They lead their group B with five points, ahead of Friday evening’s final group stage clash with Enugu State, who are pointless.
Delta and Lagos State are fast on the Flamingos’ heels with four points each.
Osun State leads the four-team group A with seven points, with Ogun and Edo States on five and four points respectively.
