Team Kaduna won two gold medals in the men’s and women’s category of beach volleyball at the ongoing National Sports Festival on Sunday.
In the men’s category, Kaduna beat Team Rivers to claim gold medal.
They overpowered hosts Team Ogun to claim gold medal in the women’s category.

Secretary of the Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), Adamu Mohammed praised the two teams for making the state proud.
He also eulogised the Chairman of KADSVA, Engineer Musa Nimrod for motivating the team to victory.
“We are not surprised about the outcome of both games. Our chairman, Engineer Musa Nimrod, who is also the president of Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), ensured the camping and motivation of the teams.
” We are happy and we congratulate His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, our Sports Commissioner, Professor Ben Gugong, staff of the ministry, all athletes and citizens of our dear state for this victory,” he said.
