Obasi Wants Rohr To Inject Experienced Players In Super Eagles

Chinedu Obasi wants Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr to inject experienced players into the team, reports Completesports.com.

Rohr has come under intense criticisms following the Super Eagles poor performance in recent outings.

The Super Eagles failed to record a win in four outings in 2020.

Obasi believes there is enough quality in the team but bringing more experienced players will be an added incentive.

“We have a great team, but sometimes it’s difficult to say like the last game; it didn’t go the way we would have wanted, going four ahead of Sierra Leone and the opponents coming back, it’s always a very difficult situation,” Obasi told Brila FM.

“At the same time, I think we have a great team, it’s all about finding a way to get the best out of the boys, I just think that’s the key.

“And sometimes, there are places where you need experience, but it’s not my job; I’m just a spectator watching from outside and it is a different ball game when you are with the team. But I wish them all the best next year.”

Reading Óbasi’s statement and you still don’t understand Obasi? Come on guys.

Do we have freekicks specialists in the Super Eagles presently? No.

Do we have game charger like Kanu and Jay Jay in the Super Eagles? No.

Do we have good wingers that really great at making crosses for our strikers to score goals? No.

So, what do we have that helping Eagles are Eagles themselves not the coaches in charge of the team. I’m so sorry to be optimistic here.

We have what it takes to rule in Africa and in the world at large but it seems like we don’t have what it takes to delivered good results because of Super Eagles coaches.

Modern football its more than having qualities in the team but the strategies and knowing what to do when things are not going well during matches and the most important thing is to know how to utilize the players under you as a quality manager.

Obasi is quite right. Azeez was omitted in that Afcon qualifiers while Ebuehi and Aina were not involved when it was matter most?

Even if we have ten Messi and C.Ronald in this Super Eagles team, I don’t think the team can manage to win trophies because the gaffers doesn’t have ideas of the modern football.

Let me keep it simple and straight today. This our Super Eagles has not reaching its capacity yet. The gaffer is trying but have to do more period. I’m not satisfied as a core fan of the Super Eagles. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
