Besiktas have announced that their Nigerian defender Glory Ogbonna has signed a new one-year contract.
Ogbonna earned the new contract on the back of her impressive displays for Besiktas during the 2023/24 season.
The centre-back made 28 appearances for the club with a goal to her name.
Besiktas made the contract announcement via the social media.

“Besiktas United Payment team have renewed the contract of our Nigerian defender Glory Ogbonna within the scope of the transfer efforts for the 2024/25 season,” reads the statement.
The former Edo Queens player expressed her delight after penning the new contract.
“Since joining Besiktas, it has been an amazing time, and the fans have been great. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds,” she stated.
Besiktas finished in fourth position in the Turkcell Women’s Football League last season.
