Combative midfielder, John Ogu has disclosed that he has been receiving transfer offers from European clubs, but is patiently waiting for the right one, Completesports.com reports.
The 31-year-old’s contract with five-time Israeli champions, Hapoel Beer Sheva ended in the summer and he believes his time in Europe is not over yet.
The Nigeria international believes very strongly that he can still do a job for an European club in the 2019/20 season after leaving Hapoel Beer Sheva.
“I’m aware that Team OGU are all curious to know where I will be playing next. I just want to urge my fans to stay calm,” Ogu wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
“I am waiting for that right offer, team, project. I love all Team OGU.”
After stints in Slovenia, Spain and Portugal, Ogu moved to Hapoel Beer Sheva in September 2014 after his contract with Academica de Coimbra was terminated through mutual consent.
