‘Olayinka Wants To Play In Turkey’ —Agent, D’avila

Peter Olayinka is presently in talks with Turkish and Saudi Arabian clubs as regards a move this summer, according to his agent, William D’avila, but the Super Eagles attacker wants to play in Turkey.

D’avila revealed this to a major Turkish media outlet on Saturday: “I am in talks with two Turkish clubs for Peter Olayinka,” D’avila said as per the Turkish media.

“We also received a very serious offer from Saudi Arabia. But Olayinka wants to play in a club in the Super League.

“Our negotiations with the two Turkish clubs are going very well. The player will decide,” D’avila stated.

“They offered very good money from Saudi Arabia. We will see if he will prefer a well-organized club in the league.”

Olayinka scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 40 matches for Slavia Prague of Czech Republic during the recently-concluded 2021/22 season.

Una go just open mouth for here Dey talk rubbish , if e easy find team for him there , no be where Dey want you you go go , Abi players they force themselves go where they no want them

      • The topics say OLAYINKA WANTS TO PLAY IN TURKEY which is why I said what I said…….He should want to play in England Spain Germany Italy France first even if they don’t come for him but it shows he knows his worth…….Oga read the topic well next time before quoting me.

That’s the topic but did you hear that from Olayinka himself, this is just a news that is not confirmed by him, in my opinion these are tactics for transfer biding for clubs who are interested in him to quickly take action, is not like there is any offer for him in top five leagues and he said he’s not going. I like Olayinka as a player if he finds big team in turkey is good for him turkey league is better than Czech league

Don’t mind @ Akp. If horses were wishes, surely beggars would ride.
Turkey isn’t even a low league if you ask me as the Turkish league ranks amongst the top ten in Europe. Moreover reports have it that Besiktas and Trabzonspur are the Turkish teams interested in having Olayink. These are big teams that feature regularly in UEFA club competitions, so what the heck.
Moving from Czeck Rep to the Turkish league is an upward trajectory, so why not cut the guy some slack.
@Akp just talked as if footballers just stroll into Premiership, LA Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A and decide which clubs they want to play for. If only you know the training, wahala, luck, grace, prayer and competition African players go through in signing a pro contract in places like Finland, Slovenia or Malta, then you will respect those playing in Turkey and those leagues you ignorantly described as low.

    • I dont want them to just stroll in……I want them to desire it openly to show their worth…….why openly demanding for a move to Turkey?…..You are a Nigerian international who has played in the UCL against teams like Barcelona Dortmund etc and the best you can wish for is a team in Turkey?……at least aim higher first…..there is power in the tongue.
