Michael Olise equaled legendary Arsenal and France forward Thierry Henry’s UEFA Champions League scoring feat, after netting a brace in Bayern Munich’s 9-2 win against Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night.
Olise marked his debut in the competition with two goals as the Bundesliga giants thrashed their opponent.
Now according to Squawka Olise is the first Frenchman to score two plus goals on his Champions League debut since Henry in 1997.
Henry achieved the feat when he was playing for Ligue 1 outfit AC Monaco.
Aside Olise bagging a brace, Harry Kane netted four goals in the huge win for Bayern.
Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace during the summer transfer window.
Before joining up with Bayern he helped France reach the final of the Paris Olympics where they lost 5-3 to Spain.
He went on to make his debut for the French senior men’s team in their 3-1 loss to Italy in the UEFA Nations League.
