Former Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh has hailed the quality
of football on display in Thursday’s English Premier League top of the table clash between Manchester City and Liverpool, Completesports.com reports.
Champions Manchester City put an end to Liverpool’s unbeaten run in the Premier League this season by edging the Reds 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Argentine forward, Sergio Aguero put the hosts ahead late in the first half, while Roberto Firmino levelled scores for Jurgen Klopp’s men from a close range header in the second half.
Leroy Sane however bagged the winning goal for Manchester City after he was beautifully set up by Raheem Sterling.
City entered the match trailing the previously unbeaten Reds by seven points, but the vital win saw them closed the gap on the league leaders to just four points.
