Meanwhile, Leicester City winger Ademola Lookman remains a big doubt for the games as a result of illness.

Lookman missed Leicester City’s 2-1 home win against Brentford on Sunday and may now have to wait to make his debut for Nigeria.

His Leicester City teammate Wilfred Ndidi has already been ruled out of the qualifiers due to knee injury.

The third Nigerian at the club Kelechi Iheanacho is already in camp.

    WE WANT DESSERS

    • you can’t compare Dessers to Lookman, I am sorry I don’t see anything in this Dessers and Amoo and Bonke you people keep overhypying. We need Lookman Dessers should go and and sit down abeg besides Lookman is younger and has more room for growth than Dessers. Dessers this Dessers that abegy!!

      • Igbekun Abo 2 years ago

Well said @Ugo. Dessers cannot dispace any of the current strikers in the Super Eagles.

    • Chima E Samuels 2 years ago

Dessers is a Center Forward I admire so much because of is goal ratio and overall work rate.

      • Igbekun Abo 2 years ago

@Chima, who will you drop for Dessers? Awoniyi, Osihmen, Onuachu, Umar or Iheanacho. Even Terem Moffi is good.

        • @Igbekun Abo exactly I will even take Moffi over Dessers @Chima I feel Dessers is Overhyped I watched him against Tunisia a year ago in friendly and I wasn’t impressed at all he was too slow.

@JULIET it will be Ejuke to be called up before Dessers. However bros Ademola Lookman can add some new dimension in our attacks I saw what he did to Liverpool in December Lookman is coming good

No body is talking about osehmen,I watched him on Saturday he was just trying to injured himself so that he will not play against Ghana uptil now he’s no where to be found

    • Detruth 2 years ago

Did not know you have that kind of rapport with him that he could have the trust and confidence to confide in you about his plans to get injured so as to not be available for the matches.

Did Ndidi confide in you about his injury plans as well before it finally happened?

      • @Detruth…Lmfao. The comments I see here sometimes make me wonder if some persons are really football fans. I never knew a player can just decide to get injured. No be Juju be that?

    • Ekpeye man 2 years ago

Lol… .funny enough, that could be some truth. I had the same premonition watching Ndidi on that match day until the eventuality.

  • If lookman can’t make it, He should have communicated earlier. This is not good

Eguavouen is looking like he doesn’t have the temperament to handle the team, his deadline for player’s arrival is Tuesday afternoon but Monday he was fuming that Dennis’ team mates were in camp but he wasn’t. It is stated nowhere that he must travel together with his team mates, that unfortunately is an unnecessary blowing of fuse. So what will the consequences and repercussions be now that he arrived Tuesday morning which is way before the deadline for arrival ?

    • Sesan 2 years ago

Don’t trust everything that you read on pages of newspapers/online. Eguavoen may not have said what was ascribed to him

@Linki Our people dey very funny, a lot of our people make comments based on how the feel about an individual without being objective and in most cases don’t realize their comments don’t make sense.

  • Detruth 2 years ago

@Ugo Iwunze…Nobody is comparing them, the dude just suggested that he be called as replacement for Lookman who is reported to be sick and yet to arrive the Eagles camp. Stop being emotional and sentimental. Pay attention to comments before responding to them.
