Omeruo, Lose With Leganes; Awoniyi’s Goal Drought Extends To 5 Games In Belgium

Kenneth Omeruo was yellow carded for the sixth time in the La Liga this season in Leganes’ 2-1 away loss away at Samuel Chukwueze’s Villarreal at the Estadio de la Ceramica reports Completesports.com.

The 22-year-old striker who has bagged so far in the playoffs has not scored a goal in his last seven games.

He has scored seven goals in 25 Jupiler Pro League games for Royal Excel Mouscron

Anderson Esiti also played all 90 minutes for Gent who held Anderlecht to a goalless draw. Esiti has made 22 appearances this season for Gent and has been cautioned eight times.

In Turkey, Victor Moses was missing in action for Fenerbahce who lost 1-0 to Alanyaspor at the Bahcesehir Okullari Stadium

Chelsea loanee, Moses suffered an injury in last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Galatasaray and he is expected to be out for at least two weeks.

However, he should be back in time for the game against Onazi’s Trabzonspor on April 27. Since joining Fenerbahce in January, the Nigerian has featured for the team 10 times scoring two goals.

Chidozie Awaziem, Okechukwu Azubuike and Aminu Umar all played 90 minutes in Rizespor’s 1-1 draw away at Istanbul Basaksehir.

Azubuike and Aminu Umar were both cautioned in the fifth and 84th minute respectively.
