Omeruo Relishes Leganes’ Last Gasp Home Win Over Real Valladolid

Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo is in celebration mood following Leganes hard-earned 1-0 home win against Real Valladolid in Thursday’s LaLiga clash at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque, Completesports.com reports.

Guido Carrillo scored the all important winning goal for the Cucumber Growers deep into stoppage time.

The victory saw ‎Mauricio Pellegrino’s side extend their winning run to three games.

Leganes now occupy 12th position in the table with 39 points from 30 games.

“Big win last minute, good fight from the boys,” Omeruo posted on his Instagram page.

Omeruo who is loan at Leganes from English Premier League club Chelsea, has made 21 league appearances for the club this season.

Leganes will take on Deportivo Alaves in their next Laliga away game at the Estadio de Mendizorroza, Vitoria-Gasteiz on Sunday.
