Paul Onuachu is thrilled to pair Cyriel Dessers in Genk’s attack, insisting they could prove a tough nut to crack for opposing defenders.
The duo were on target in Genk’s hard-fought 2-1 away win against Zulte-Waregem at the Rainbow Stadium on Sunday.
Onuachu cancelled out Olivier Deschacht’s strike for Zulte-Waregem in the 73rd minute after he was set up Dessers.
Dessers then scored the winning goal for the visitors from the spot in the 79th minute.

“We only trained together once”, Onuachu was quoted by voetbalkrant.com.
“It was a bit different from last year, when I was all alone up front a lot.
“It went well (vs Zulte Waregem), but it’s up to the coach to pick the team.
“I’m not 100% yet, but coming in, scoring and winning gives a positive feeling.”
