Genk won the thrilling Belgian Cup semi-final clash 2-1.

The Nigeria international scored the curtain raiser in the 17th minute after he was set up by Colombia defender Daniel Munoz.

Genk were reduced to 10-men after Jhon Lucumi was sent off in the 71st minute.

Adrien Trebel reduced the deficit two minutes later but Anderlecht were unable to score the equalising goal.

”I have no words to express my joy. We worked hard and gave everything after the red, our victory is deserved,” Onuachu said after the game.

“We often had problems with the red cards this season, we showed tonight that ‘we could defend at 10. ”

Genk will face Standard Liege in the final of the competition on April 23.
