Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu has his sight firmly set on scoring his 23rd goal of the 2018/19 Danish Superligaen season when FC Midtjylland play host to Esbjerg FB at the MCH Arena in their final game of the season on Saturday reports Completesports.com.
Capped once by Nigeria, Onuachu scored 17 league goals, three in the Superligaen Championship round, two in the Europa League Qualifying rounds and three in the Sydbank Pokalen competition this season for Midtjylland.
Regardless of the outcome against Esbjerg FB, Midtjylland will finish second in position in the Danish Championship round with Copenhagen already declared champions.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Midtjylland are ready to cash in on Onuachu before he features for Nigeria at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Onuachu, who has been named in Nigeria’s provisional 25-man squad for the AFCON in Egypt finished the season as Midtjylland’s top scorer for the season.
