The search for a perfect partner for Ndidi in the Eagles midfield continues…I watch Etebo yesterday and I was disappointed because he lacks creativity playing in the number four role just like Ndidi but Ndidi is a better ball winner.im beggining to tow the line of some fans who keeps clamouring for Nwakali because he seems to have the key to what SE fans have yearning for .All other defensive midfieders we have now are too similar to Ndidi in style and therefore cannot partner with him. We need a midfield combo similar to what Croatia paraded last world and went to the finals –Raketic vs Modric

He have said Etebo is not a DM but he plays one good game in that position and praise singers will swam here like flies to Euligize him again…

Strange people because we like Etebo now they want to hate him. Keep deceiving yourself@Gowetok

The problem with brainstorming with a view to making troubleshooting recommendations on our football in public places like thus one is that some people just lack the requisite/appropriate football sense!Take it or leave it,fir some people the most gifted eagles player, wait for it is,jamilu Collins!lolz..don’t mean no disrespect to JC.I’m just saying, for example, some have told us nwakali is never going to be eagles material! They will according to them only change their position when he plays regularly for a big European club.but how many are great players playing in less glamorous divisions but making great impact in their national teams.eagles of 90s generally didn’t have players in flamboyant teams, yet they made position 5 on FIFA rankings

  • @Gowetok nice talk, you see when some of us talk, some people we come to this forum and start playing sentiment, this is the reason why i always mentioned coach Rohr it’s as if the man don’t understand how to make super eagles progress, imagine him saying he will not invite new players, since we have been talking about it that super eagles lack creative playmakers Rohr should search creative players for super eagles period.

This is to say anyone switching nationalities to play for Super Eagles from another country is on his own… Imagine Arnaut Danjuma who just signed at Villareal… the guy has been saying he can no longer wait for Netherlands and will now consider Super Eagles… If Rohr continues with the chant that new players are not welcomed… how does ones like Danjuma and Lookman remain motivated to go through with the switch?

  • Onyeka is a good midfielder period….He can pair Ndidi in the defensive midfield department so also can Etebo period…..We have attacking midfielders like Aribo Iwobi Chukwueze Ejuke and more period…..Rhor did not say he will not invite new players,he only said he will not invite new players for the world cup qualifiers because it’s very crucial and he can’t gamble with it period…..There will be friendlies and camping for Afcon so many new players will be blooded period……Nwakali should better play in a top5 league and command a starting shirt before he will think of SE midfield period……. Period

My brother sometimes this Nwakali’s hype confuses me. A player who is yet to do anything tangible since leaving the shores of African about 4 to 5 years ago.

We Nigerian fans tend to hype nonsense
