Osayi-Samuel Set To Join Club Brugge From Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers have accepted an offer from Club Brugge for winger Bright Osayi-Samuel, according to West London Sport. The winger has been the subject of a long-term interest from Belgian side.

According to the report, Brugge had a bid for the 22 year old rejected by the Championship club in May. However, they have now had a bid accepted, believed to be in the region of €4.7 million.

After a difficult first two seasons with QPR, he has come into his own during the 2019/20 campaign.

Osayi-Samuel has scored five goals and registered nine assists in 39 appearances so far this season. The Mark Warburton’s side currently sit in 16th place in the Sky Bet Championship table, on 54 points.

However, after an excellent season, interest was expected in the 22-year-old As a result, they opted to extend his contract until 2021 earlier this year.

Osayi-Samuel, a product of Blackpool FC youth system, joined QPR in August 2017 from the English third-tier league side.

    The good news here is when he moves out of England to Belgium, his eyes will be more fixed on NG Super Eagles. Just like the case was with Tosin Kehinde, Lookman et al. The guy (Samuel) is a very good Winger. Like a traditional winger that crosses the ball in well and also score goals. He will be a great addition to our squad
