Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala is delighted to have joined the women team of ‘best club in the world’ Barcelona, reports Completesports.com.
Oshoala joined Barcelona for the remainder of the 2018/19 season from Dalian Quanjian FC after an agreement for the transfer was reached on Thursday.
The 24-year-old trained for the first time with her new teammates at the Joan Gamper Sports City on Friday ahead of Sunday League match against Albacete in the Miniestadi and expressed confidence that her arrival will help bolster the team to win laurels.

“Obviously this is one of the best clubs in the world, the team has a great history and a good football mentality,” Oshoala told Barcelona official website.
“I am very excited to play again with Vicky Losada, a great midfielder, with a lot of energy and technique, I have also met Fabiana in China and she has helped me make this decision.
“My goal is to strengthen the team and help them win and make history, it’s a great opportunity because I know something big is going to happen.”
FC Barcelona Women are currently second in the First Women’s division in Spain with 48 points from 18 games three points adrift leaders Atletico Madrid.
The three-time CAF Women’s Footballer of the Year also previously featured for Arsenal and Liverpool Ladies in the FA Women’s Super League in England.
