Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has been nominated for the Liga Iberdrola Player of the Week award, Completesports. com reports.
Oshoala ended her three-match drought as she struck twice in Barcelona’s 6-1 thrashing of champions Atletico Madrid last Saturday.
It is the second time she will be nominated for the award since her arrival at Barcelona.
Her first came after she netted a brace that helped Barcelona to beat Atletico Madrid 2-0 in March.
Barbara Banda, a Zambian who plays for Logrono is also nominated for the individual prize.
Valencia star, Carol Férez is the third player who is in the running for the award
The winner of the Primera Iberdrola League Player of the Week award will be decided by fan votes.

Now this award.I think she will win and deserves to be Liga player of the week.I think she is world class and our best player(male/female) She was nominated BBC Women’s best player in the World in 2016!So u can imagine.She should be winning more,is better than most players in European or USA team.She can become FIFA World best with the right system and if nepotism is rooted out.With the right players around her she can win it.Nigeria can win the women’s world cup with her ability.
