Osimhen Alone Can’t Help Napoli –Sacchi

Former Italy coach, Arigo Sacchi has revealed that Napoli teammates must support Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen if the team must actualise their dream of winning the Scudetto this season.

Sachi made this known on the back drop of the team’s 1-0 loss against AC Milan in Sunday’s Serie A game at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

Recall that Olivier Giroud netted the only goal of the encounter in the 49th minute.

However, reacting to Napoli’s performance, Sacchi told forzaitalian that the Nigerian international has showed his hunger for goals but that his fellow teammates are not doing enough to help him.

“The solution of Napoli, in the end, has almost always been the passage, short or long, to Osimhen who has a lot of courage, is fast, technically very good, but cannot solve everything alone.

“Little thought about it, but history matters a lot. Napoli are not used to winning, therefore they do not have that culture of success that is necessary to reach the top.”

I know Osimhen has become such a formidable top striker that the who is who in football are talking. Insigne is a bloode 4ul. I want Osimhen to move to Bayern next transfer window if there is an offer.

Thank God Arigo has iterated what I said here last week. Osigoooals cannot do it all alone. Mr. Soaletti should admonish his midfielders to always make supplies available since he most plays Osigooooals as a lone striker.

I hope coach Eguavoen is reading. Osimhen would need to be paired in Ghana, presumably with another scorer.

Our T.A who successfully won the top position must read to understand ké. Victor Osimhen cannot do it alone so he needs Odion Ighalo to pair him for early goals against Ghana.

Winning is a habit Napoli is very much lacking!

That short man Lorenzo Insigne is the most bloody selfish human being i have ever seen in my life. Am sure he hates Osimhen but cant help it. Hes just a very repulsive character of a footballer. Hes costing Napoli all their games with his annoying selfihness yet the coaches cant see it.

  • I will be happy to see Osemeh move out of Napoli this summer

  • That Napoli vs milan game was hectic, Osimhen was double teamed all through the game but he still managed to outrun and outmuscle his markers on many occasions.
Its clear from sacchi’s comments, if the team wants more goals from Osimhen then they have to build their game around him and give him adequate support.
I feel if Osimhen remains next season, the coach needs to bring in more talented players who are ready to work with him in terms of providing supplies and he needs to get rid of certain selfish players who value personal glory above the teams performance. Insigne is already on his way out others like him should follow.
