Osimhen Celebrates Napoli’s Win Away To AC Milan

Victor Osimhen has expressed delight after Napoli edged AC Milan 1-0 in Sunday’s Serie A clash and get their title ambitions back on track.

Napoli are right back in the title race after a Eljif Elmas strike earned Luciano Spalletti’s side a 1-0 win at the San Siro.

This was a Scudetto showdown between second and fourth, who risked falling further behind new leaders Inter. They had been joint leaders until recently, when injuries began to take their toll.

Theo Hernandez pulled out with flu symptoms, joining injured Ante Rebic, Simon Kjaer, Rafael Leao, Davide Calabria, Pietro Pellegri and Alessandro Plizzari.

And for Napoli they made the trip without Lorenzo Insigne, Kalidou Koulibaly, Victor Osimhen and Fabian Ruiz, while Kostas Manolas signed for Olympiakos this week, but surprisingly picked Andrea Petagna rather than Dries Mertens.

Napoli move up to second on 39 points and are four points behind leaders Inter Milan while Milan are third.

And reacting to the hardfought win, Osimhen congratulated his teammates for securing all three points.

“Just one is enough🤝congratulations guys @sscnapoli.”

It was a strong start from Napoli and they took the lead when Piotr Zielinski’s corner found Elmas header down at the near post, as he got away from Sandro Tonali.

Milan did get the ball in the net at the 90th minute when Giroud knocked down a cross, there were several efforts charged down and Kessie swept in from 12 yards.

However, the goal was disallowed when VAR alerted the referee to Giroud in an offside position, which was considered active despite the fact he was lying on the ground underneath a Napoli defender.

@ MONKEY POST, them @Damian said you are frustrated and you really want to jakpa. Their aim is to stop you from CSN, inhibiting your right to expression which is cleared you cherished. When!!! That’s gonna be stupid of you to fall for such bait. The fact remains that these online platforms like CSN are there to inform online reading audience and when necessary, those targeted are at liberty to make comments either for or against any write-up put out, they could also render advice but must eschew vulgar language. Comments are not compulsory anyway.
On this Osimhen matter, we will celebrate with him and not looking for means to complain. It’s not easy for a depleted team to win an away match mostly when playing against another tough team. God luck Osimhen.
