Osimhen Eager To Return Against Sassuolo- Agent

William D’Avila, the agent of Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, has stated that the Nigerian is ready to return to action against Sassuolo on Wednesday, reports Completesports.com.

Osimhen missed Napoli’s last two games against Granada and Benevento after suffering head injury in the club’s league defeat against Atalanta last week.

The 22-year-old trained for the first time after the incident last Saturday.

“Victor is fine. He trains every day and gets better. He is training in a group with his teammates, “D’Villa told kisskissnapoli.it.

”I spoke to him today and he told me that if he gets the okay from the technical and medical staff he can already play againat Sassuolo. He is ready and eager to return.

“He wants to do everything to bring Napoli to the Champions League. He has been unlucky in this last period but I know him and I guarantee you that he is focused on the end of the season.

“He is motivated. He’s in good shape and as soon as he unlocks at the door, he’ll be back to the old one ”

The forward has scored twice in 16 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.

Sometimes its not about determination or fire in the eyes, i will advise Victor even though he is back to physical fitness that he should take a psychological examination to check out what and what he needs to get back to form, he should take his time to watch his past matches and see if there’s something wrong hindering his performance. I see more of mental thinking needed than just forcing to play and start scoring goals. In life application of wisdom is needed before anything meaningful can be produced.

We should allow oshime.. A certain awoniyi had a far worse head injury towards the end of last season and he is back this season doing very well with goals and assist..

    Injuries are part of football.

Oshimen wishes to play which is very normal considering the number of games he has missed this year and last year. In fact oshimen has rested more than being on the pitch this season and some folks wants more rest for him even when he is declared fit..

What is proper now is for the medical professionals to examine him because due to long absence of kicking the ball he might want to rush into the pitch but if he is finally declared ready and fit he should not be held back, such hunger is what napilo needs at the moment to go higher on the league table..

    I wish him the best

  • People Saying We should allow Osimhen this allow Osimhen that?? Abeg let us hear word.. Osimhen is a seasoned pro playing in the top flight he is not a kid learning to walk he already know’s how to walk to the point of being the most expensive player in Africa. He needs to play and get Match fitness and that will help him being in the national squad. You guys are hypocrites. When Kalu didn’t kick a ball after Injury but was included in the Afcon 2019 squad most of all the people here saying we should allow Osimhen time to rebuild were happy Kalu was in the squad so if kalu can do it what makes you people think that Osimhen with bigger potential can’t. abeg enemies of progress MAKE WE HEAR WORD JOOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can’t deny that he is one of the best strikers in Serie A. With Mertens, Osimhen, and Koulibaly all fit, Napoli would now be Top 3
