Osimhen Inspires Me —Maldini

Daniel Maldini, son of legendary Italian defender Paolo Maldini, has said Victor Osimhen is the striker that inspires him in Serie A.

Osimhen has been one of the most outstanding players in the Italian elite division this season.

He tops the scoring chart with 19 goals from 22 games and five assists.

His goals have contributed to Napoli’s surge to the Serie A title as they are 18 points clear of second-placed Inter Milan.

The 21-year-old added: “He (Osimhen) is having an incredible championship. It’s really overwhelming.”

Osimhen will be in action for Napoli when they entertain Eintracht Frankfurt, in the UEFA Champions League round 16 second-leg tie.

These are the people who should be marketing you with the hype instead of you talking for yourself to the press that you dream of what you already deserve. If Osimhen make such statement again he will be dropping his value after such a Brilliant form that he smashed records. After that interview how many goals has he scored??? Some lazy youth will be saying the truth his negative if only they understands how life works, you’ll be paid peanuts and benched when a new striker surfaces just because they see you as a dreamer who they’ll offer peanut contract because he doesn’t let his rep do their job. I hope he’ll score today in their next match because Simone is locking around the corner ready to pounce if he slacks.

    • Osimhen made that statement when he was sitting right next to the owner of Napoli…… infact he was invited to the award by the owner of Napoli and the award was organized by journalists which the owner of Napoli happens to be……. It’s on YouTube if you want to watch it….. Everything osimhen said there was well planned…….Napoli has decided to sell him and make the maximum profit from him because of his high purchase price and wage demand…….If Napoli does not sell osimhen now that he is hot and Napoli is champions elect they may never sell him above the 75 million they bought him again……kvara was bought for just over 15 million and Napoli can afford to hang onto him for some seasons and still sell him at a considerable profit but Osimhen’s case is different…….. Napoli took a very risky and expensive gamble on osimhen at the first instance by pay such an amount on him……. This is a very good opportunity to achieve their target by winning the scuddeto and getting back at least a profit of 30 million on osimhen…….it was well planned and osimhen said what he was told to say……. Lastly believe it or not if osimhen moves to Chelsea next season he will be among the top 5 earners at Chelsea so leave football business for those that are in it.
