Osimhen Splits With Agent , Backed To Shine Under New Napoli Boss Spalleti

Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has dumped his agent William D’Avilla, Completesports.com report.

D’Avilla was hired by Osimhen last year after it was alleged that the forward’s previous agent Franco Lovino was trying to negotiate extra bonuses for himself during talks for his transfer from Ligue 1 club Lille to Napoli.

D’Avila has several African players on his books, including Younes Belhanda, Samuel Kalu and Emmanuel Dennis.

“We ended the relationship with the ex agent, there were some agreements not respected. The warrant has been revoked and now William D’Avila no longer has any authorization to speak about Victor at this time,'”his brother-in-law and member of entourage Osita Okolo was quoted by Calcionapoli.

Osimhen will work under former Roma and Inter Milan gaffer Luciano Spalleti at Napoli next season.

The 22-year-old has already impressed the new manager after scoring five goals in two pre-season outings for the Partenopei.

Okolo believes the former VFL Wolfsburg of Germany striker will thrive under the Italian manager.

“We know that he will be an important player for Spalletti’s Napoli but Spalletti will also be very important for Victor, to represent an added value for the player’s growth and to allow him to perform at his best, there is mutual respect between the two,”he added.

“The player likes the coach and the coach likes the player. A beautiful relationship was created between the two, a right understanding and symbiosis. Osimhen can grow a lot with this coach and give him a lot, we are happy with Spalletti’s arrival and he will be able to add something to his technical background, to Victor’s knowledge.”
