Osimhen Will Be Perfect Fit For Man United –Ighalo

Al Hilal striker, Odion Ighalo has advised Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen to pitch his tent with Manchester United.

The former Liille forward has been having a terrific campaign for Napoli this season, leading the league goalscoring chart with 19 goals.

His partnership with teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been menacing to defences in Europe this season as both have paired up to making Napoli a formidable force both on the domestic and international fronts.

The Nigerian international has been linked with some of the big clubs in Europe ahead of the summer transfer window.

However, Ighalo told Osimhen to move to Manchester United.

‘I think it’s a good fit because he is a young boy, he runs and he can score goals,’ Ighalo told Sky Sports News.

‘Having Victor Osimhen and Rashford in the top at Manchester United will cause any defender panic because they are two fast players and they are goalscorers. I think he will fit in Manchester United so well.

‘I know him so well, he’s like a brother to me. We talk every once in a while, I advise him, I talk to him and I tell him to keep working hard and believe in himself, which he is doing. He is on the right path.

‘He is a goalscorer, he never stops. Osimhen is like an ant. He is a striker that doesn’t give defenders a chance to rest, he is always going to be on you, he is always going to press you and he is not afraid.

‘He is somebody who has the heart of a lion. He will try and put his head on any ball to try and score.

‘He takes risks and I think it would be a feat for Man United, just in the same way this Argentina defender [Lisandro Martinez] – The Butcher… you see that guy going for every ball.’

Osimhen recently spoke about his future and revealed that he is working hard to achieve his dream of playing in the Premier League.

Ighalo enjoyed 12 months with United before leaving for Saudi Arabia.

This guy went on sky sports to say I want to play in the premier league. I dont know what man entertains a league while playing for another, this is disgraceful. Even after he won the italian player of the year award. These Nigerians, so desperate to play for the premier league just because Nigerians are their from england being the former colony and thats literally the only league they watch. There have been numerous players who begged to go to the premier league and have been failing miserably.

Aribo went to Southampton and is in relegation mode
Onachua went to Southampton as well and is battling relegation, He said he is made for the premier league
Awoniyi who I favored and vouched, switched to forest. Union berlin is in the top 4 in champions league spot. He was a starter for forest, now the record paying player for forest is now on the bench so lightskin mixed brendan johnson taking his place. Awoniyi even said I hope Nigerians support me while I play in the premier league
Dennis left to club brugge to join watford, scored goals and got relegated. Now barely playing for forest

I dont see any other African player begging to play in the premier league but Nigerians. Osimhen is basically saying “Man utd or Chelsea please sign me.” Shameless, this is why the Nigerian national team will never go forward. I remember Ighalo said he had offers from barcelona, real madrid, inter milan and etc. But he only wanted man utd move, even took less pay so he can play in his favorite club, he didnt even start games. See what these Nigerian players do just to play for the premier league. Whenever there is a good Nigerian player they assume that he has to go to the premier league. Why? For the reasons above, the english know these Nigerians are desperate to play for them. How come nobody else see this self sabotage? I want to see players on super eagles for real madrid, maybe barcelona, bayern munich, psg. Looking at the national team is horrible. I really forgotten about Sadiq because of his injury. He made the move to socieodad, there’re in 3rd or 4th spot for champions league

Agreed with your views. These Nigerians literately beg to play in the Premier League only to fail miserably. Manchester united is a graveyard for most of these foreign Players. My suggestion to my Edo son is, stay in Napoli and enjoy the fans who idolizes you. Manchester United and all English fans will humiliate you if you miss a goal. Thats the way they behave over there. The fans will not be there to give you support but agonize, mock and call you ‘a ripe off’ and other unprintable names. All these ratings you are now enjoying will turn to a thing of the past. Think seriously before you leap.
