Victor Osimhen’s goal against Eintracht Frankfurt in the round 16 second leg tie has been voted UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week.
UEFA disclosed this on their Champions League verified Twitter handle on Friday.
Osimhen’s goal was picked ahead of strikes from Manchester City stars Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan and Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

The Super Eagles striker bagged a brace as Napoli defeated Frankfurt 3-0 to advance 5-0 on aggregate.
It was a goal to behold as Osimhen gave Napoli the lead deep into first half stoppage after jumping high to head home a cross from the right.
The 24-year-old went on to score the second before Piotr Zielinski added the third from the penalty spot.
Also, Osimhen was in the running for the Champions League Player of the Week which was awarded to Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Meanwhile, in Friday’s Champions League quarter-final draw, Napoli will face seven-time champions AC Milan, holders Real Madrid will take on Chelsea, it will be Bayern Munich and Manchester City while Benfica will battle Inter Milan.
