Osimhen’s Agent meets PSG Over Summer Transfer

Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a summer move to the Ligue 1 champions.

Osimhen has caught the eye of a number of clubs this season following his superlative displays for Serie A club, Napoli.

According to TMW revealed today that the forward’s agent Calenda met with PSG’s technical director Luis Campos last week to discuss the player’s future and if a deal would be possible in the summer.

The meeting was carried out without Napoli’s prior knowledge, it’s claimed.

The Nigeria international has scored 19 goals in 21 league appearances for the Partenopei this season.

Manchester United and Chelsea are also in the striker.

Osimhen has made it clear he would like to play in the Premier League one day but it remain to be seen if PSG can tempt him with a lucrative offer.

Thumbs down brotherman Chima. Chukwueze is to go to the English Premier League. Manchester United, Liverpool or Chelsea will do. If not, Newcastle, Aston Villa or Everton.

Osimhen will not smell Balloon d’or at these English clubs. But teams like Madrid, PSG and Bayern will give him good chances of not only winning CAF POTY but he might be a Ballon d’or contender if he outscores their stars and win UCL. The last EPL player that won Balloon d’or was CR7 if I’m not mistaken and that was decades a GO when ex internationals talks less.

A player can only be the best when he plays with the best. Eto’o was ordinary until he played in Barca, Mane was ordinary with lots of potential though in southampton until he came to liverpool, Salah was a journey man from chelsea to fiorentina to AS Roma but he started getting that ranking among the best when he got to liverpool. I will prefer Real madrid, PSG, If one of neymar or mbappe decides to leave, Bayern munich or Arsenal. I chose arsenal because, they are the only team in england that ignore trash talks from ex english players. If osimhen likes, let him score 100 goals for man utd, he can’t be loved more than rashford. Go and ask di maria, depay, lukaku, ibrahimovic, cavani even ronaldo and pogba. They will only be loved for half season or full that’s all. Rashford has played his worst season before now yet, he’s still seen as their postal boy. I was shocked the day i heard that calamity jones is still a man utd player. As for chelsea, their position right now is not helping them at the moment.

@Sean  well said they’re yet to fall in love with Halaand that is Half Britain and scores uncontrollably. It is Nigerian Victor that they want to love because he wants to come and score goals that they’ve not seen before. The sentiments of some fans is based on their league of affiliation that is why they’ll wish for a player to join the club they support. Epl is this and that yet when they meet Real Madrid and Bayern at UCL the odd changes and best described as Dog and Lion locked in cage.

  • Sometimes PSG buy players just to prevent other teams from becoming too strong not really because they badly need the player……. Chelsea and Man utd badly need an out and out striker at the moment and osimhen could solve their problems for them…… Secondly osimhen’s style of play suits the EPL perfectly…….pace, power, determination, heading, anticipation, run in behind, strength, bravery and skills…… Infact osimhen was tailor made for the EPL…….If osimhen stays fit he will be unstoppable in the EPL

Thumbs up Brotherman AKP. England is where Osihmen belongs.

      • It will be very painful if we don’t see osimhen in the EPL before he retires…… Infact in will be a great injustice to football and fans worldwide…..The fans deserve to see what spectacle osimhen will bring to the biggest stage in world football……A wise man once said that the fear of failure should never stop one from trying….. Osimhen and the EPL where meant for each other and we the fans want to witness what the marriage will bring.

      • Ignatius Abo 1 year ago

Right against AKP. Evil fans with evil intentions will condemn the English Premier League League. Onuachu is currently bringing tears to defenders in England. Osimhen will also shine there.

        • Supatemmy 1 year ago

Which of the Onuachu? The one who is yet to score or assist? Bros wake up abeg

Manchester United or Real Madrid are best clubs I prefer them for senstional player Osimhen , because these clubs are champions have many title in UEFA championship, so I think he must join one of these great clubs, he can be World class, can gain championship soul so he can benefit himself and Super Eagles team.

English Ex internationals Gary, Keane, Jamie and even fringe Agbonlahor are used to messing up players psyche. Everyone has a different opinion but if all you watch is African pundits on DSTV or Go-Tv sports channel then I don’t expect you to understand were I’m coming from. Osimhen is free to choose the club he wants and we wish him the best as always.

This guy went on sky sports to say I want to play in the premier league. I dont know what man entertains a league while playing for another, this is disgraceful. This guy even won player of the month away in Italy. These Nigerians, so desperate to play for the premier league just because Nigerians are their from england being the former colony and thats literally the only league they watch. There have been numerous players who begged to go to the premier league and have been failing miserably.

Aribo went to Southampton and is in relegation mode
Onachua went to Southampton as well and is battling relegation, He said he is made for the premier league
Awoniyi who I favored and vouched, switched to forest. Union berlin is in the top 4 in champions league spot. He was a starter for forest, now the record paying player for forest is now on the bench so lightskin mixed brendan johnson taking his place. Awoniyi even said I hope Nigerians support me while I play in the premier league
Dennis left to club brugge to join watford, scored goals and got relegated. Now barely playing for forest

I dont see any other African player begging to play in the premier league but Nigerians. Osimhen is basically saying “Man utd or Chelsea please sign me.” Shameless, this is why the Nigerian national team will never go forward. I remeber Ighalo said he had offers from barcelona, real madrid, inter milan and etc. But he only wanted man utd move, even took less pay so he can play in his favorite club, he didnt even start games. See what these Nigerian players do just to play for the premier league. Whenever there is a good Nigerian player they assume that he has to go to the premier league. Why? For the reasons above, the english know these Nigerians are desperate to play for them. How come nobody else see this self sabotage? I want to see players on super eagles for real madrid, maybe barcelona, bayern munich, psg. Looking at the national team is horrible. I really forgotten about Sadiq because of his injury. He mad the move to socieodad, there’re in 3rd or 4th spot for champions league

    • Never use another man’s story to dictate the path of another man because everyone has his own destiny….If Others failed it does not mean osimhen must fail……You are economical with the truth here my dear friend because most of your argument are either half truth or exaggerated…… Dennis came to the EPL and made an instant hit….. Dennis till today is the 3rd fastest player to hit double figures in his first season in the EPL….. Awoniyi was Forest highest goal scorer until he got injured and he is gradually working his way back to full fitness……You tactfully omitted all SE players that have made names for themselves in the EPL inorder to paint the EPL bad……. players Like Mikel who is legendary today…….players like Aiyegbeni who is in the famous 100 club of the EPL……Players like Odewingie who became noticed when he came to EPL…….players like Iwobi who was born and bred in the EPL…….Players like Ndidi who came to the EPL and the world took notice of his tackles and ball winning skills……Players like Eze, tosin and Olise who will definitely make SE stronger if they play for us are playing in the EPL…….Any player can find his club in a relegation battle but that does not mean he made a wrong career choice…….There are Nigerian players in Relegation battles in other leagues that are even less prestigious than the EPL and you tactfully omitted it in your write-up.

    • @Shuma are you comparing Osimhen to Aribo or Ighalo or Onuachu or Awoniyi… Are you comparing generational talent to normal talent. or does your block head not know what a generational talent is???. My guy look if their is one Nigerian player who is writing a destiny like the Haalands or the Mbappe’s or the Ronaldo’s or Zizou’s and co.. that player is Osimhen. this guy is a generational talent an X factor player not an average player and he will tear that league a new ass hole. again Victor James Osimhen is a Superstar and is actually built for Premier league, he is not a average player Mr Block Head. Name a Nigerian player in history who scores at his rate, Name a player Besides Cristiano Ronaldo with Victor Osimhen’s Heading ability? Name an attacker in the World who can tackle like a defender like Victor James Osimhen. When I say some of you don’t know ball this is what I mean

    • @Shuma Name another Nigerian player in history who was ever lablled Europe’s best striker or you think people are just dashed that title for the sake of it?

    • TOD_ 1 year ago

@Shuma…you are supposed to balance your arguments, with some players, who went to EPL and did very well….you fail to mention Yobo, Mikel Obi, Yakubu, Osaze, JJ Okocha and among others…next time, you balance the argument, so that you dont mislead readers.

  • Sir, please can you go over your comment a second, third, fourth, fifth or maybe a tenth time and think about the nonsense you just wrote. When did you start dictating a player’s career path for them? And you are so pathetically passionate about it….Gosh

    • Edoman 1 year ago

Babahlu, blhu, blhu, blahbu buha-ri. You don’t need to insult Shuma the way you did. He is entitled to an opinion just like everybody else. I totally agreed with his views. l am sure he will accept your unhinged apology.

      • @Edoman,, Let me say this @Shuma is a damn disgrace a Block head for the drival he has just Spewed against Nigeria’s greatest ever Attacker in the Making. Victor Osimhen is on another level to any player he has just Mentioned in that trash he just wrote above @Sam no need to apologize you are spot on bro

        • Shuma 1 year ago

@Ugo Iwunze But you are a bum! My time is precious, I actually have a job/career. You need to stop being jobless and get you some business. Your name is nasty, sounds like vomit. Whoever heard of Iwunze, you need to do better

    • Shuma 1 year ago

I will because its a free world. Its not nonsense its a fact. Im a unbiased here, my comment proves a point. People are upset because they want to see him in the premier league

      • Tristan 1 year ago

I support your contention. These other commentators are not familiar with the racial politics of the English league.
If Osimhen wants to go to the EPL, fine but I advise him to put a clause in the contract that he can request a loan outside the premiership if he doesn’t get enough game time.
