Palmer Equals Hazard, Lampard, Costa’s Records In Chelsea’s 6-0 Win Vs Everton

Cole Palmer continued his brilliant debut season for Chelsea as he scored four goals in the Blues’ 6-0 win against Everton at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Palmer opened the flood gates of goals when he opened the scoring on 13 minutes.

He made it 2-0 in the 18th minute before completing his hat-trick on 29 minutes to make it 3-0.

In the 64th minute, he got his fourth and Chelsea’s fifth after converting a penalty kick.

Other scorers for Chelsea on the night were Nicolas Jackson and Alfie Gilchrist.

Palmer is now tied on with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland on 20 goals.

Aside scoring four goals, it was a night Palmer equaled some records set by Chelsea legends.

Palmer is the first Chelsea player to score 20+ goals across all competitions since Eden Hazard in 2018/19.

The former City winger is the first to score 20+ goals in his debut season for Chelsea since Diego Cost.

Also, he is the first Chelsea player to score four goals in a single Premier League game since Frank Lampard in March 2010.

Meanwhile, Chelsea move up to ninth place on 47 points in the league table.

For Everton (27 points) they are in 16th and just two points above the relegation zone.
