Anyanacho lost 2-0 (3-3, 8-3) to China’s Jie Song.
In the women’s wrestling 62kg, Esther Omolayo Kolawole lost 5-1 to Kyrgyzstan’s Aisuluu Tynybekova.

in the men’s 125kg freestyle wrestling, Ashton Adeyemi Mutuwa lost 11-0 to Hungary’s Daniel Ligeti in the second round.
Nigeria is yet to win a medal after 14 days of competing at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The likes of Blessing Oborodudu, Odunayo Adekuroye, Favour Ofili, Ese Brume and Tobi Amusan have all failed to fulfill expectations.

Disastrous Olympics so far. Not even a single bronze. Pathetic, and I don’t see any hope for a medal after Tobi Amusan crashed out thus morning in the semi finals of 100m hurdles. Terrible outing!
