Federico Pastorello, the agent of Patrice Evra, says his client will not be making a return to Juventus.
Left-back Evra is currently without a club, having been released by West Ham United last summer, and there are rumors claiming Italian champions Juventus are ready to offer the defender a short-term contract.
The 37-year-old spent three years with the Old Lady from 2014-2017, winning two Serie A and Coppa Italia trophies whilst also reaching the final of the 2015 Champions League.
A return to one of his former employers looked to be on the cards but Evra’s agent has poured cold water on these reports.
Talking to Rai Sports about the player’s links with Juve, Pastorello said: “I do not think that today, as Juventus plays, Patrice can be comfortable in the central role. I am very pleased with this, even if we have not talked about it.
“Because we did not have any kind of feeling or contact with Juventus, but because from a tactical point of view it is not the player who can do it for them.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
