“The boys were tired because of the long trip, but they showed great enthusiasm and motivation. They trained with happiness.

“This is the first step to reach the next AFCON. We want to win even though it is in 2023. It is important that we start to improve our spirit.”

Pesiero if you want to win African Cup of Nations in Cote Deviore 2023 , you must creat dedcation and decipline and determination in Super Eagles souls; also you must select a players on merit not on favourtism; you must put classic Nigerian style of play which has made Super Eagles have won Afcon. Cup in 1980-94-2013.So you must put all these things in your mine and in your heart in order to success in your tenure so that you will make SE formidable team which will conquer the Africa.

I said this yesterday. NFF with their poor preparations as usual.

We may not see the best of our star players against Mexico because they won’t have much time to recover.

This is why our ex footballers have to replace the current NFF.

What is the point of organizing two friendly matches against two of the best teams in the world without good preparations?

Anyway, I know one day, Nigeria will get it right.

However, this Oga Paseiro really mean business. This is the kind of feeling we needed in the team. The expectation is very high. He knows Super Eagles value and he wants to build on that. I am having the feeling that something great may happen under the new gaffer.

I have said it before, a good coach doesn’t need three to six to build a team.

As a good coach, keep it simple. Scout for three best goalies, best defenders, good midfielders and attackers and ask the NFF to organize friendlies for you here in Africa to test run the team. And after few months, you can compete with the best teams outside Africa. Shikena.

We have the materials but we don’t have the leaders in the NFF and I hope we have found a coach in Oga Paseiro.

I want to see new Super Eagles in less than six months of Oga Paseiro. It is achievable because we have materials available for this project.

There’s no room for excuses because we have the players available to represent Nigeria.

Keep doing the talking with actions.

We don’t want to hear excuses. If those keepers in camp are not good enough, replace them.

If the midfielders are not good enough to deliver, replace them.

We have to have a complete team.

Super Eagles must have two reliable goalies, strikers and midfielders that really good as soon as possible.

No creativity in the Super Eagles yet. We witnessed that under Oga Rohr and coach Eguavoen.

Just keep it simple Oga Paseiro. You have to strengthen the entire position in the Super Eagles.

No more recycling in the Super Eagles.

We have Osimhen and Dessers as our best strikers. Our midfield is not that strong while our defence also needed to be stronger than never before.

Okoye and Uzoho needs compensations. For me, I will bench Uzoho and try out Adeleye and other goalies against Mexico and Ecuador because we have seen enough of both Uzoho and Okoye. For example, Super Falcons coach, Mr. Waldrum is doing that with his two goaliesand we saw the result against Canada and USA.

Super Eagles is a big team that have huge potentials in Africa and around the world and I am so happy that this Oga Paseiro knew that. Good luck to you and the entire team. Please CSN, what time is the match
tomorrow in Nigeria time? God bless Nigeria!!!

I can feel the excitement in your comment, my brother, the truth is I follow your comments very well having seen signs of good analysis from you. However, I feel it will be good to keep our expectations very low at this stage. While it is not a crime to dream big, wisdom demands that one economizes his words in public places.

I love coaches that are discovered and not those who announce their plans and later dash the hopes of the people. I feel Oga Pesaro should allow us to discover him by giving results. While I encourage us to drum support for him, I will also like that he calms down.

      • What did we gain from keeping it low under Rohr. I think we have to change that system. We have to be like Chelsea and know what we want. We have some of the most promising players in Europe. We have the quality and potential. So why not aim for the best and hit the ground running?

@DannySE, well spoken. However, am not carried away about this at all because it is too early.

But I am seeing what is lacking in the Super Eagles over 6 years now.

This coach Oga Paseiro knows Super Eagles value and he’s very proud and passionate to be the new coach and that alone is is huge.

More so, he wants to achieve something spectacular with our Super Eagles in short time, that is one of our expectations because we have players to do so.

As I said above, Super Eagles have limited time to prepare for Mexico. Ecuador match may be better. Let’s wait until Afcon qualifiers.

        Nonetheless,

This is not about dreaming but reality. It is possible to achieve that. Super Falcons coach, Mr. Waldrum did it why not, Eagles can achieve this if they work collectively as a team @Obong_Ben.

It is now or never. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

@Omo9ja, how can u say u want to see a new @SuperEagles in less than 6 Months? This is not club football where the players wil train together and play together weekin weekout.

From June till November biko how many times do u think the @SuperEagles will meet again abd train as a team??

I love the optimism of our new manager
I sense a winning mentality, I wish him success and trophies with the super eagles!!

  • I am not sure how can prepare for AFCON with almost 8 of our regulars missing.. This is ubsurd really another blunder mentality from Nigerian FA…. Are we not meant to let the team Gel properly… So are we saying that these boys from NPFL will take the place of players missing for these friendlies. Is Nigeria actually always intentionally planning to fail. And for GODS sake what is Buhari name doing i that team it is as if the Government of this Country has said that no matter what there must be more Northerners in the team. what is all this?

Just a word for Oga Peseiro: A smart hunter keeps his sword sheathed. This is a time-tested African proverb.

The glare of unsheathed swords is notorious for scaring off animals, and the hunter risks returning home empty-handed to be confronted by his starving family. The journey to the podium for an AFCON trophy is fraught with danger, very unpredictable, and often fought with unethical zeal. Some teams like the BS are given special coaching to flip themselves on the ground to earn crucial spot-kicks. They have done it several times, and don’t have qualms repeating the charade. I know you’ve been to Egypt. Egyptians come armed with their own tricks, but the place to face real hurdles is in the heart of Africa where the weapons range from voodoo to lasers.

I’m sure you didn’t take these into consideration. An FA can send cattle to destroy a stadium overnight so that an oncoming game can be played in another stadium, the midst of a deadly shrine.

This is Africa, not Europe, where players rely only upon their skills.

Don’t provoke the guys in our group with loose talk, lest they set up camp in the dark forest.

    We have to qualify first!
