Pinnick: Super Eagles Needs Quality Preparations To Qualify For Qatar 2022

President of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) Amaju Pinnick has informed that the, Super Eagles can qualify for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar come 2022 if they have quality preparations..

The three time AFCON champions will host arch rivals Cameroon Indomitable Lions in an international tune-up game in Austria come June.

Amaju, a member of FIFA Committee gave an intense analysis on why the boys need grade A friendly matches ahead of the qualifiers.

According to him, “I think the option of Cameroon boils down to having a Grade A friendly. Like I have said, the Indomitable Lions are one of the biggest African football country, they’ve got quality players and they are the first in history to have gotten to quarter final stage in the world Cup and have been to World Cup more than any other country in Africa and this is World Cup qualifiers we are talking about.

“We want to play top teams in Africa so when the World Cup qualifiers gets tougher, we would be able to know if the boys can match countries like Cameroon, Ghana, Senegal, Egypt as far African countries are concerned because they are tough countries.” he said

“Don’t forget that Cameroon will be the host nation of the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) come next year. We are not actually not going into that tournament for jamboree but we have a target and by God’s grace it going to be a podium performance.” he added.

In his words, ” The boys will assemble and the team will play in Austria, these is quite expensive flying the team alongside logistics just to give these boys quality friendly matches and as well make the team to be in shape.”

” The team already know that World Cup is a tournament every player dreams to go, so with better preparation before September, we’ll be able to be in shape knowing fully well by June/July most teams will be on break and we want them to be busy.” he revealed.

“We are still looking for more Quality friendlies so that can be sure that our team is ready for Next World Cup Qualifiers come September.”

Mr. Amaju Pinnick thanks for your analysis but world cup qualifiers is more than what you think.

Preparations without strengthen the coaching department is nothing.

You even went ahead talking about winning the next Afcon in Cameroon without feeling concerned about the ability of the Super Eagles coaches?

Are you sure we are ready for this?

Oga Rohr has bn with the team five years now and Mr. Mutiu Adepoju said we should limit our expectations from the gaffer?

Which one we should count on now?

I have bn deceived during the world cup in Russia and in Afcon in Egypt but not anymore sir.

You Mr. Pinnick and Oga Rohr should be more serious about this our Super Eagles than ever before because winning the next Afcon in Cameroon is not negotiable and it is next year or never and qualifying to the world cup in Qatar is another target that the gaffer have to qualify Nigeria to.

I wish you and Oga Rohr the best. Do something Oga president. God bless Nigeria!!!

I recommend Mr. Amaju Pinnck to held advisory meeting between technical committe and coaching staff of Super Eagles to adopt new pattern of playing that recreat a new SE who have prestige, strength, charima in African football or the World; so in this meeting you can dicuss why SE can’t lift or win Afrco Cup through interpted years;why SE alway become in third grade for many Afco Championship?! why SE can’t pass sixteen grade in the World Cup to the Eigteen grade;I think the pattern of playing and coaching crew mentality and thier philisophy of administration the games,so this advisory meeting must putthe an obligational decisions to the coaching crew to play with France-Italian style which play with defensive mentality then turn spetedly to the attackt, that require the defensive midfielders and center backs constant and stabile in thier position that means in foot ball theory(tactical discipline),so SE lack this theory whatsoever lead uncapable to lift Afco Cup many times and also uncapable to climb or ascend to grade 8 or 4 in the World Cup final;I think Oga Rhor and his crew must work with this theory of playing with defensive mentality not attacking one which Rhor like to perform it; defensive playing has many machenicals or factors like; pressing and sliding playing; proper recoveries, playing on one line with constant positioning, closing rival’s key players all these standars will reslize an excellent result from any match for SE even if the rival is giant team like Brazil,Spain,Germany, France, Argentine,Algeria,Senegal and so on; Rhor must change his mine from playing comprehensive, attacting football to defensive football then he will accrue it’s fruits in near future, lifting Afco Cup or climb to grade 8 or he can climb 4 in the World Cup final in Quatar…
