Players Ordered To Report For Appraisal

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ordered his players to report for an end-of-season appraisal at Carrington next Monday.

The Manchester United boss is demanding his faltering team end their disappointing campaign with a victory over relegated Cardiff City at Old Trafford the day before.

And the Norwegian has told his players they cannot leave immediately for their holidays when the final whistle goes, with some tough talking seemingly on the agenda.

It is understood United stars including midfielder Paul Pogba and striker Marcus Rashford will take part in a final squad warm-down at their training HQ on Monday morning.

But insiders have revealed the boss is also planning to speak with his team about what has transpired in the last few weeks, which saw the Red Devils fail to achieve a top-four finish and Champions League football for next term.

A few will be left in no doubt over their playing futures, although the overriding message coming out of United’s camp is Solskjaer and his backroom staff want to inject some fresh positivity and underline the standards they expect.
